There may be times when you want to restrict who can view or access a gallery. This is useful for:
Private client sessions
Schools or youth events
Corporate shoots
Sensitive or limited-access projects
Any event where you only want authorised people to view or purchase images
Photohawk allows you to easily secure a gallery with a password so only the people you choose can access it.
How to Secure a Gallery
Open the gallery you want to secure.
Go to Gallery Settings.
Select the Security tab.
Toggle “Authentication required?” to green.
Enter your chosen password.
Update your changes.
Once enabled, anyone trying to access the gallery will be asked to enter the password before they can:
View any images
Browse the gallery
Complete searches
Add items to cart
Checkout
This ensures your gallery remains private and accessible only to those you choose to share the password with.
