If you would like changes made to a photo you have purchased — such as adjusting a crop, removing a filter, improving brightness, or correcting an issue — here is how the process works and what to expect.
Important: Photohawk Does Not Edit Photos Directly
Photohawk does not carry out photo editing in-house.
All edits must be completed by the photographer or event organiser who originally uploaded the images.
However, we are happy to help by forwarding your request to them.
How the Process Works
Option 1 — Contact the Photographer Directly (Fastest)
Sometimes the order confirmation email you receive from Photohawk includes the photographer’s or event organiser’s email address.
If you see their email in your order email, you are welcome to contact them directly, which can speed up the process.
When emailing them, please include:
Your order reference number
The photo or filename (e.g., IMG_2345.JPG)
Details of the edit you would like
Any screenshots if helpful
This will allow them to review your request quickly and reply directly.
Option 2 — Ask Photohawk to Forward the Request for You
If your order email does not include the photographer’s contact details, or if you prefer us to handle it, you can email us at support@photohawk.com.
Please include:
Your order reference
The photo or filename
A short explanation of what you would like changed
We will forward your request to the photographer on your behalf.
How the Process Works When Photohawk Forwards Your Request
1. We send your request to the photographer
We forward your full request, including any screenshots or attachments.
2. We follow up if needed
If we don’t hear back within a few days, we send a reminder.
3. If the photographer still hasn’t responded
After one week without a reply, we will:
Update you
Provide the photographer’s email address
Encourage you to reach out to them directly
This avoids unnecessary delays and ensures you get a response as soon as possible.
